Healthy Living

9 am on September 26, 2026 at Wilson Rescue Squad (1902 Tarboro St., Wilson, NC 27893)

This class doesn't teach fad diets, but it does focus on healthy nutrition and exercise.  Learn how to make healthy diet choices, even on a budget.  We will consider balanced meals as well as foods to avoid.  We also want to help you move more with suggestions for exercise at every level.  Finish the year strong and set yourself up for a healthier new year.

Basic Cooking

9 am on October 10, 2026 at Wilson Rescue Squad (1902 Tarboro St., Wilson, NC 27893)

Starting with kitchen safety and food safety,  this class covers all you need to know to start cooking at home.  This class is designed to make you feel comfortable reading a recipe and learning new skills through lots of practice.  We even include some baking tips for the upcoming  holidays!  Come enjoy cooking (and tasting) in the class!  

Resume Writing and Interviewing

9 am on November 21, 2026 at Wilson Rescue Squad (1902 Tarboro St., Wilson, NC 27893)

Do you need to change things up?  Are you looking for a promotion or a new career?  We are here to give you the skills you need to get your resume seen, land an interview, and secure that position!  We will talk about how to create or edit your resume.  We provide interview tips and mock interviews.  We also talk about the role of AI in job searches for both potential employers and employees.
